2 days before I leave Melbourne - for Paris
I’m in the middle of packing - winter, spring and summer - how much does a girl need!!!
Tonight it’s home night - and team meeting with David and Johanna - will they actually remember to water the pot plants and empty the bucket in the shower.
I’m sure all will be well - and they will actually get on quite well without me.
So, Paris, here we come - for some great exploring - and we look forward to seeing you all if you are coming to Paris.

I have just accessed the blog. How exciting. That’s strange. I didn’t think you were 54 particularly as we were born on the same day and I’m not. Having said let us not worry about such triflings. It sounds as if you are embarking on another adventure and that this is not just a holiday in La Belle France. How long are you staying and what position does Ian have?
We are all well and working rather hard.
Rob too hard. Myself too hard until next week when I hope to finish writing my book, but then there will be a lot of other things to do like finalising photos. Melinda is studying shorthand aiming for 120 words a minute and continues to have a hectic social life. Dr Julia is working an 11 week stint in Shepparton before returning to her permanent position at St Vincents. She likes the work even though she works long hours sometimes at night.
This weekend Rob and I and my sister Georgie are going to see a Sydney Nolan exhibition, before they go to an orchestral concert at Hamer Hall, while I attend a shower tea for a friend of Julia. On Sunday Rob and I will lunch with the Dales at a nearby winery.
